After the merger of two companies: British American Tobacco and Rothmans International in 1999, the brand Vogue moved to the portfolio of BAT.

This line was released exclusively for women. It is distinguished by pleasant tastes, and, first of all, glamorous package design. The advertising of this line held a slight dominance of women over men, which again attracted more women. Thus, by buying Vogue, women felt in some way freedom and independence from men.

Products of British American Tobacco often changed style, keeping pace with the times, which could not but affect the Vogue cigarettes, the design of the pack changed relatively often, but the pleasant taste of thin aristocratic cigarettes remained unchanged, so they hold leading positions to this day.
